De heterodímeros de sistemas de reparación del ADN e inestabilidad microsatelital al diagnóstico del cáncer de colon

Resumen

Los tumores de colon poseen defectuosa la maquinaria de reparación de errores de apareamiento que corrige la replicación del ADN por lo que tienen un aumento de las mutaciones de tipo microsatélites, las cuales generan inestabilidad en el genoma. Algoritmos diagnósticos que conjugan la inmunohistoquímica y técnicas de PCR permiten clasificar estos tumores como cáncer esporádico o síndrome de Lynch, lo cual tiene importantes implicaciones en las decisiones terapéuticas. El presente trabajo pretende abordar desde un enfoque integrador el algoritmo diagnóstico actual disponible en el sistema de salud
