Valor del ultrasonido de alta resolución en la obtención del patrón vascular en la membrana sinovial en pacientes con artritis reumatoidea

Introducción: La artritis reumatoidea afecta las articulaciones sinoviales variable y progresivamente. El ultrasonido de alta resolución con Doppler es útil en el diagnóstico temprano de la enfermedad.
Objetivo: Establecer y caracterizar un patrón ecográfico vascular de la membrana sinovial, basado en el empleo del ultrasonido de alta resolución con Doppler pulsado y color en los pacientes con sospecha diagnóstica de una artritis reumatoidea
Métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo transversal en 24 pacientes; 19 mujeres y 5 hombres, entre la 3ra y 5ta décadas de la vida.
Resultados: Con el ultrasonido de alta resolución se observó en el 100 % de los casos la proliferación sinovial, con derrame articular celular en 41,66 % y transparente en un 37,50 %.
Conclusiones: Se demostró que el ultrasonido de alta resolución es una técnica eficaz en el diagnóstico temprano de artritis reumatoidea, con índice de validez de 91,67 %, sin diferencias significativas si se compara con la artroscopía.
